I'm a Sacramento native and a great resource for you. While I was growing up my parents bought homes, lived in them for a while, fixed them up and moved to different neighborhoods. I've lived in South Sac, East Sac, Curtis Park, Land Park, South Land Park, College Greens, midtown, and Del Dayo Estates, (Carmichael). Let's just say I'm well versed in Sacramento and the outlying areas. I treat my clients the way I would like to be treated. We will communicate in the manner you choose. While the world is trying to get control of the spread of the pandemic, the Delta and Mu variants ofCovid-19show that virus is still mutating and still poses a threat to the world at large. Currently, doctors across the globe are monitoring and continuing to learn about new and emerging variants, but the most important factor in controlling the spread of COVID and all its variants continue to be the simplest: maintain proper hygiene, utilize social distancing measures, and whenever in contact with others, ensure you utilize masks that are up to recommended protection standards.
Most experts and doctors agree that it is important to utilize proper masking practice; masks have been shown in numerous studies to be one of the most effective ways to slow most viruses – including seasonal cold and flu strains – and will be key to helping slow the spread of COVID-19 and its variant strains.
What is the best way to keep yourself safe?
Many people have reusable cloth masks. Is it safe for me to reuse a mask, even an N95, and KN95?
Some scientists say that high-quality masks, such as N95, KN95, and high-grade surgical masks can be worn until they are visibly soiled or damaged. The filtration will not be damaged or work with multiple uses, but a masks’ snugness and fit can degrade over time. A less secure fit means the effectiveness of the mask drops dramatically, giving only a fraction of the protection of a new mask.
Additionally, reusing the same mask comes with a risk: if your mask came in contact with the virus, handling the mask vastly increases the risks of contamination. The best form of protection of reusing masks will be thoroughly washing your hands. Note, however, that using disinfectants during washing can come with another risk. Cloth masks have a high absorption rate, and you’ll be breathing in any chemicals from the disinfectants that get absorbed into the mask for extended periods of time.
